Yesterday we had big fluffy clouds and high temperatures, but the wind was picking up. Not a good sign around here. Sure enough we have heavy gusting winds and dark gray clouds today. Temperature is still reasonable. We have Killhope in today, so I am going to the mine and help get them squared away. Byron cleaned up the Solstice pocket (Temptation for Jesse). He also cleaned up the floor on the West end of the Black Sheep Pocket. The floor is now over two feet below where it was originally. It looks like it may be below the mineralized zone. Stay tuned for more information. Dave, Lofty and Byron are going to drill, in preparation for a blast late this afternoon. All of the mucking is done and everything is ready to go. All I have to do is get Killhope squared away and get powder. Then back to my garage.
Bill came in yesterday, so I took a couple of hours and went to meet him. Everyone was poking along because of the weather (who could blame them). I was a little late, but so was Bill. There was a great deal of construction going on around and in town. Glad I went, otherwise it would have been difficult for him to get here. We made the trek down the driveway. Which doesn't look like much until you have to carry something. I look at it as my summer exercise and wild flower spotting program. I enjoy it. I hate to say it, but that was our day. Ain't life grand?!
Have a good day!
Cheers, Jonina and Byron
