It's been a wet and dreary day - a bit colder than usual. I lost one of my ducklings this morning. I think I probably came close to losing all of them, so now they are in the living room where I can keep a closer eye on them. I kept hearing reassuring peeps during my bookkeeping today. With the books to do, the day was pretty mundane for me. I did manage to catch up with Marie Land of Gemcraft. She was debating which bus to make a run for when I came in to the shop, so I gave her friend a ride to West Blackdene and took Marie to Cowshill. She and John have moved into a really beautiful house next to some water falls. Absolutely beautiful. We talked for a while and I headed home.
Byron and crew had a very unusual day. The two crosscuts at the face are strange. The one to the East is in a heavily brecciated zone. Byron has spent most of the day in there trying to get a good look, but still hasn't found the floor. Mostly gravel and mud. The West side is being difficult and we haven't made much progress here yet. It will be a priority next week.
That's all for now. Dave is gone for the weekend and I will have young Matthew with me and Sarah tomorrow at the house. Byron will of course, be at the mine. Take care and chin up. We are doing well. Hope everyone else is fine.
Cheers, Jonina and Byron
